Hello.
The Pekka kana 3 development is totally in ice. I do not have much to do with it anyways. Jerome was coding it and well he has now two little kids. Janne has lots of other things in life and well. I am little too much excited of grazy new games that have been published to put any time on my other projects

I wish you all luck and all the best with your next endeavors, dear Piste Gamez staff members! Maybe someday the free time to finish PK3 will come and we'll be waiting for that opportunity. Meanwhile, with PK2 being open-source and all, it seems that with the efforts of this forum and PK2lib as well, PK2 will continue to be played for years to come.

Well, the only horrible thing I've experienced in this game
are: - some poorly made community maps (*cough*Fzeroman's*cough*) - I don't really like announcer concept, so as soon as I heard him commenting menu options, I've turned him off. Other than that, I've got interested in it when I've seen such words are "survival", "driving", "wings" and seen Tron(Legacy)-like screenshots. The freedom this game gives you with CORE Antivirus Vehicle's (AKA Interceptor's) abilities is just what I love in this game. Along with music, style and survival gameplay.

When i was programing pk3 the game was written in C++/DirectX9. The editor was written in C++/Clr using the game engine as the back end. Like Anti mention, i have two little boys now, but that does not mean i do not have time to work on things. It is just that i do not have as much time as before. Also Janne is very busy lately, i haven't had the chance to talk to him, but you never know things may change down the line. I will keep everyone updated.

Thanks for posting. I hope that, at some point, game will use OpenGL instead of (or just additionally to) DirectX. This way it would take less work when porting to other platforms (Linux/Mac? Consoles/Smartphones?). Hah, would be nice to be DX-independent.
