First - about the major browsers:

I personally prefer Firefox to the others because its customizability and other stuff. When I cannot use Mozilla Firefox, I use Google Chrome because of its speed. Safari is horrible for people using Windows, IMO. Opera is ok, but its customizability is too small, I'd say. To IE I wouldn't touch with a long stick, as we Finns say.
