I see people commenting things like "the game is dead" and being so sad about the game, but you should realize this game is 15 years old, it is lifespan is way more stretched out than most indie games. Pekka Kana 2 has indeed a very small community compared to what it had years ago, but that is natural, we knew it would happen sometime. People being sad about how the game has a so small community now, is like being sad because you are going to eventually die.
The fact this community is still a bit active is actually reason to be happy, as that is something unexpectaded for such a small game. And people saying the community is not dead, but is dying, well, not true at all, compare today to two years ago and i don't see that much difference, and this will go on for longer than you might think.
I want to mention thought, that everything i said is mostly based on our Discord server, since i am an admin there. In the server, we are having an actual growth in the amount of people over these months, very small growth, but still positive numbers, which means our community is at least stable. Talking about it, here we got another link for it if we wanna join us: discord.gg/YgN4EFN
Before you do anything with this link i ask you to understand that the decision to click the link and get in the server is YOURS, because recently Discord has put limits of can you share invitations to Discord servers, including the fact that if you send an invite to someone without the person actually asking for it, you have risk of being punished hard if the person report you. So, please don't report me, i don't know if that counts for public threads but if so i ask you just to understand that you are not forced to anything. I really disagree with this rule, but the fact that Discord is so much better than Skype and Teamspeak and i am part of communities in it(like PK2) weights much more than a single rule makes me want to stick it anyway.
That is all, have a good day friend.
