If you're finished earlier you can post it before. Don't rush it, though, do a bunch of playtesting, if you have the time to do so!
How to join:
Just reply to this thread, saying that you're in.
You may also join, even while the competition is in progress. However, as the rules state, you have to start the map from scratch. So if you join, when the competition already has started, you can start as soon as you join. (The moment you post in this thread, that you're in.)
The deadline is still final, though. So if you join 3 days before the end you'll only have 3 days to start and finish your map.
Voting for the winner starts on the 15th and ends on the 18th, so you have 3 days to play and vote. The winner will be announced, when the poll has ended.

I'm in. Also did a level for competition called Lost Island. It works only for Pekka Kana 2: Community Edition version 1.5, because this level uses checkpoints and music in .mp3 format (my old composition). Download
Here it is Fun fact, my biggest problem was to find the name for the level. Level contains custom assets and includes also my unreleased custom assets from idk-when-upcoming time-machine 2 remake. Also, I used music from dysnomia. Map created under legacy rules, tested on enhanced sdl version.
>C.E. version as most of the background sprites aren't loaded there I support this statement, my level also desperately needs bg sprites to be loaded. If you decide to play my level, please do it on sdl enhanced
