Trying to play some of the new episodes, I was stopped by wrong tile or sprite sets. Rooster's red teleport (which should not be needed, according to his remarks) and in Dieters episode in map 3, where I start as a flame (!) - and the flame cannot move left or right. In the map - editor program there is a rooster at the start (1 life)) - playing it, there is a fire doodle bag instead of the rooster. Are there different numberings of the sprite and tile sets (or whatever) in different versions of PK2 ? Is there an easy way of fixing the problem on my computer? Is there a chance of eliminating the wrong version in the program download area? Could Janne even create a patch or update on the PK2 page? I always thought, that I am playing on the original PK2 version, since I experienced the same problem with an earlier map. Has anyone else the same problem?

I too. Redownload PK2 and make 2 Installations. One normal with PK2 V1.1 and one patced PK2 V1.2
Maps made with updatched data do only good on V1.1

I posted this to the other thread as well, but I'll post it here too:
It seems that the author of Egges Testbox has used sprites from Rooster's own "new sprites" packet. The maps won't work right if you haven't installed that package.

Thanks Janne Now, that you are mentioning it, it is only the maps from Roosters map-factory which sometimes don't play the updated version of PK2. So he might installs the original sprite set again instead of letting us all play on the unpatched and on the patched version of PK2. Let us see, what's happening Anyway, thanks again for looking into the problem.

Its from a freinds one, contaminated with my "Sprite Bug Virus". On mine all works fine on a unpatched/normal sprite or patched/new sprites installation. I dunno why. A question : Does Fun Factory work ?

Actually the sprites always get overwritten by the next in list. If you load "bee" as 20 and "roboss1" as 21 every bee will be a roboss ?

You're right. I didn't test what would happen with the editor if some sprite would not be found. I've already done a fix so the editor loads unknown sprites as 'error sprites' so that they can be deleted from the list. Of course it would be cool to have an option to replace a sprite in the list with a new one...
