I play HL2, CS:S, Enemy Territory... Hmm I am starting to see some pattern here. All are FPS. Well I like those.
I actually play ET at clan. CS:S playing is not that serious. only random pub play.

I consider myself as oldf*g gamer - PK game is counted to it too. Heroes III, Starcraft _1_, Might&Magic series (6-8), XCOM (1,2), etc - games of my childhood.
Perhaps the latest games i like to play is COD 5 (due to my favorite historical era) and League of Legends with friends.
Recently i bought new computer that flies in a speed of light but for some ironical reason i still play old games through dosbox : D.
Anyway, games of 90s and beginning of 21st century are the best because no one back then thought about how to get as much revenue as possible and everybody focused on artistic side of the game.

My answer to the question posed as a title for this forum thread: I am still playing the Game of reality, though it's boring as hell for me most of the time... and it is a mixture of 'hell' and 'heaven', yet something more... I can't wait to leave this Game behind and I don't worry about it being a hell of a Game either. OK, now about computer games... Super Bubble Blob ( www.thegamespage.com/games/vintage-games/super-bubble-blob) is a rather nice 2D platform that's VERY hard after the first few levels. The game mechanics are cool, though the game graphics are kind of 'meh', yet still do the job. A sequel to SBB, i.e. SBB 2, is also in the works as of last year (the current status of the project is unknown): www.thegamespage.com/bubble-blob-2-dev-progress. SBB2 will also have a level editor, like PK2 does. You may try it if you're looking to play a rather casual game - a nice platformer in this case. As for other games, I don't play much these days, but I do play PK2 a few times a week when I feel the need to chill out and relax (and exercise my keyboard-pressing skills). HL1: Deathmatch was my favorite multiplayer game, and Heroes III (+ the expansions) and WarCraft 3 were/are also excellent games from the old school games. As for indie games, besides Piste Gamez' excellent games, I also recommend titles such as Laxius Power 3: The Final Terror (by Indinera Falls / Damianzeking), which is a very long and hardcore 2D RPG in the style of old Japanese RPGs, as wells as Cave Story (Doukutsu Monogatari) by a Japanese creator with the nickname Pixel, which is a very nice 2D platformer/adventure game that has since become legendary for its quality for its time (being made by 1 person also adds to its cult status as an indie game). There are many more nice games out there made throughout the years, but I won't go about listing more games, unless someone asks me to. My former most favorite game was... the Game of life, but that has become quite bland, dull and repetitive in the last decades or so, travelling, thinking, writing and going camping are some of the nice ways to spice up your life with some REAL experiences, rather than virtual repetitiveness (e.g. being a lurker on the Internet). Anyway, games of 90s and beginning of 21st century are the best because no one back then thought about how to get as much revenue as possible and everybody focused on artistic side of the game. This is very true. Over-commercialism and lack of creativity in most mainstream AAA titles have made indie games the last way for quality games to shine through (and even exist, as some people claim). Great old games can still be found at sites like gog.com, however, if one has the time and desire to play old-school games. * * * So, what are YOU playing or have played lately (answering with "nothing" is a valid response! )? ~sahwar
