So I found a new wrapper from ddraw to openGL WineD3D. It will allow you to run PK2 from exe on any modern OS (tested on Windows 10 14393) But I needed to compile new PK2.exe to fix a ultra high speed "bug" (unofficially called it 1.3), and I think I found way to add windowed mode, but no promises. So you can grab dlls from their website and copy ddraw.dll, libwine.dll and wined3d.dll or use my pack, it includes dlls and new exe (If old exe will be ultra super speed) ultra How to do this: -Grab it here or here-Backup your original PK2.exe -Unpack new files to your pk2 directory -Run new PK2.exe and enjoy. I will try add windowed mode to PK2.exe, but it's tricky using Windows XP on virtual machine with visual c++ 6.0 and directX 7 SDK no promises but I see it is possible. If for some reason game not work or crashes you can try different versions of wrapper from their website downloads.adolfintel.com/Projects/WineD3D/Builds/ I found that 1.7.52 works perfect, newer versions like 1.8 or 1.9 just crashesEdit: 2.4 version works perfect (tested on windows 10 1607). If that not help go back to dxwnd. This works with editor too, just copy ddraw.dll, libwine.dll and wined3d.dll to editor folder and run it. (no need to patch .exe)
Known bugs: -Somentimes after exiting PK2 or Editor, it may still run in background, just open task manager (ctrl+shift+esc) and end PK2.exe or PK2LevelEditor.exe (in 2.4 version of wineD3D looks like it's fixed)
