I know this is offtopic, but is that the same K1n9_Duk3, that posted on the shikadi.net DOS wiki? Also, I guess you were inspired by Commander Keen.

I'm almost certain it is him. Though I'm not following all of his activities.
Yes, the game is heavily inspired by Commander Keen, but it is also inspired by Pekka Kana 2! You see, there are some push-able keys that are working in a very similar way as the ones in Pekka Kana 2.

Alright, so first impressions:
I probably would've played a lot, when I was a kid. It is very imaginative, which is great!
The "Jake enters..." thing gets a bit annoying over time, especially when you're already in the level.
I somehow paused the game and didn't know how to unpause. I just hit a bunch of keys, the character shot a shot and it was unpaused...
It would've been nice if there was a sign or something, that showed you the keys. I didn't even know you could shoot, until I hit space on accident.
I'd recommend to check this out! Congratulations on finishing this project, by the way! That definitely is an accomplishment.

Thank you! You can actually reconfigure the keys in the options menu. You can configure and play with a controller as well. There's also a help menu. Press F1 for help. Pause is activated by P and is deactivated by the same button again. Unfortunately, I cannot do much about the "Jake enters...". It's just the way it is. It's also like this in the original Keen games, if you remember.
